- I classify this as extremely serious drug crime, it says something about the scope, she says.
Three men were arrested at the house search conducted on June 4. They have been detained ever since. Later this summer, two more were arrested, one also suspected of particularly serious drug crimes and one for assisting in the same crime. The suspected aide was detained for a short period but has now been released.
On Friday, two more people, both from Gothenburg, were arrested for assisting in the crime.
Most from the Gothenburg areaAll suspects except two have their home addresses in or outside Gothenburg. Two do not have a population registration address.
The prosecutor does not want to go into how far the cultivation had come or whether the men should have been able to make any sales.
- I'm not commenting on it at the moment, she says.
According to Jenny Karlsson, this is a "very large" investigation. A further number of people will be questioned and there may also be more suspects involved.
According to Peter Sundblad, investigative leader at the Skaraborg police, both plants were found next to finished plants and newly planted shoots.
Nor does he want to say how big the scope was.
