Director Baltasar Kormakur got his big break with the movie "101 Reykjavik" and has since made action films like "Everest",

"Depth" and now most recently "Adrift". Variety now says that the adventurous director will direct the movie "Arthur the King" which will start filming in early 2020.

Pros on action

It has already been clear that Mark Wahlberg plays the lead role as Örnsköldsviksbon Mikael Lindnord. Kormakur and Wahlberg have previously made the action films "Contraband" and "2 Guns" together.

The script is based on Mikael Lindnord's book on how he brought Arthur home to Örnsköldsvik in connection with a multi-sport World Cup in Ecuador's jungle. Who will play Arthur remains to be seen.
