We have previously reported on the two brothers, Josef, 18, and Michel, 16, who are from Uppsala and have been notified of deportation.
They, and several others who have moved from Burundi, are considered able to return. But this is what the Burundian association is critical of and during Friday they organize a demonstration.
- If we are sent back, torture awaits. Probably we will be imprisoned, says Josef.
The Migration Board believes that it is not dangerous for everyone to return to Burundi, but that special consideration should be given, for example, to ethnic belonging and a critical attitude to the regime.
