"I hope that the president and I ... will communicate as closely as necessary to understand each other perfectly ... He is a tuning fork with which we need to compare all the complex decisions that we will make," he quotes Goncharuka Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, the new government is a “team of managers” created to “restore order in the processes.”

The head of the Ukrainian government also noted that, most likely, he would be less likely to see Zelensky because of the large amount of work in the Cabinet.

“The Cabinet is a big colossus. These are 100+ government agencies. There is a bit of work, there is something to do, ”said Goncharuk.

Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada approved the candidates for ministerial posts submitted by Goncharuk.

Ruslan Bortnik, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management, in an interview with RT named two factors that determined the appointment of Goncharuk as Prime Minister of Ukraine.
