In detail, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has set a minimum of three months for its review of job opportunities by job seekers, starting from the date of their registration in the Tawteen portal, and taking serious steps to join the jobs.

The Ministry also granted citizens with new employment opportunities a period of not more than two weeks from the date of notification of the availability of the job, during which they prepare to take up their new duties.

In response to questions from hundreds of visitors and followers of its official portal, the ministry said that priority for benefiting from Emiratisation services will be for a citizen who does not work for an employer (government or private) who is not a commercial or professional work on their own. Be retired from work and be available for work (i.e. be able to join work within a period not exceeding two weeks from the date of his request for employment from the concerned authorities).

The Ministry stressed among its priorities the necessity of the citizen seeking job not to refuse more than three suitable job opportunities in the private sector, and not to refuse to join three training or qualification programs offered by the concerned authorities for resettlement, as well as not to reject more than a suitable job offer, in addition to not being absent About attending two job interviews.

Emiratisation priorities also included that the citizen seeking work must activate his application at least once every three months, not to miss the evaluation programs and employment days (three times), and to respond to «emails» or any other means of communication up to three times, and that Immediately notify the Ministry of any change in the e-mail or the mechanism of communication with him, noting that citizens looking for work of the owners of priority have priority in the use of Emiratization services. The ministry pointed out that it seeks through the «Tawteen» portal to nominate citizens seeking job opportunities from its registered, for vacancies advertised in the portal, and coordinates with employers to attend job interviews directly or through attending open employment days in the centers of happiness of customers in the country, In addition, they are nominated for technical or specialized training and qualification programs in order to gain more experience and develop their functional capabilities, in addition to benefiting from vocational and career counseling sessions. The Ministry obliged the job seeker to perform 11 procedures to register on the Tawteen portal as a job seeker, starting with completing all the fields in the “Registration” page and “My CV” page in the “Tawteen” portal to get a special account for the job seeker, then log on to The account of the job seeker at least once every three months to activate the registration account in the portal, and be ready to work within a period not exceeding two weeks from the date of notification of the appropriate job opportunity for him. The list of procedures also included the need for the job seeker not to attend any service provided to him more than three times, and not to attend the job interviews nominated by the Ministry for more than twice, or to reject more than three suitable job opportunities from different parties.

6 tasks for «Tawteen»

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Tawteen) affirmed that its Tawteen portal is carrying out six main tasks through which it achieves its objectives, including providing an electronic platform and smart services to support the recruitment process, and preparing programs to train and qualify job seekers.

She added that the rest of the tasks include providing advice and professional guidance to the national workforce and Emiratisation partners, conducting follow-up and evaluation of the process of hiring citizens in the private sector, providing incentives and privileges to the Emiratisation partners and workers in the private sector, and finally providing facilities with the mechanism of work and gain points in the club of Emiratisation partners.
