The broadcast of the vote in the Ukrainian parliament was conducted by the Rada television channel.
In favor of Ryaboshapka’s candidacy, 312 deputies came forward.
Before this, the deputies by a majority vote approved the resignation of Yuriy Lutsenko from the post of head of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Earlier, parliamentarians elected the deputy head of the president’s office, Alexei Goncharuk, as prime minister of Ukraine. The speaker of the Rada was elected the head of the party "Servant of the People" Dmitry Razumkov.
Also, deputies of the Rada have already approved Andrii Zagorodniuk as Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Vadim Priestayko as head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Ivan Bakanov as head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
