Uppsala District Court vacated following threat

"We have received a threat to the district court and are now working on preventive measures," says Linda Wideberg, spokesperson for RLC police region Mitt.

SVT Uppsala's reporter Erik Leijonhufvud is on site and reports that the barriers extend from Kungsgatan to the beginning of Dragarbrunnsgatan in central Uppsala.

- Staff from Uppsala District Court gather outside the building. There are between five and ten police officers on the scene, but the atmosphere is calm, says Erik Leijonhufvud.

Catarina Barketorp, lawyer and chief at Uppsala District Court, cannot comment on the threat at present.

- What I can say is that I have evacuated the building with other staff. We follow our routines and are now at the gathering place, ”she says.
