“According to the data of the State Emergency Situations Department of the city administration, on the morning of August 29, the water level in the Amur River is 696 cm (trend: rise by 10 cm),” the administration said.

It is noted that the unfavorable water level in the Amur for Komsomolsk-on-Amur is 450 cm, and the dangerous level is 650 cm.

Earlier it was reported that in Komsomolsk-on-Amur, about 20 houses were flooded, eight people were evacuated.
