Benoît Paire, 26th in the world and one of the best French hopefuls, was eliminated in the second round of the US Open by Slovenian Aljaz Bedene (80) 4-6, 6-7 (3/7), 6-2 , 7-5, 7-6 (7/4), Thursday in New York.
Bedene took full advantage of the innumerable mistakes and mood swings of the Frenchman. The tricolor N.2 did not even shake hands with his opponent after the match and left the court hastily without greeting the referee.
