His speech in the Verkhovna Rada was broadcast by the Rada television channel.
According to him, representatives of the fund intend to discuss the terms of the new cooperation program.
“In a few weeks, the IMF mission will be in the country with which we will negotiate a new program,” he said.
Goncharuk specified that the new program will be designed for three to four years.
Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yevgeny Muraev told why the IMF provides loans to Ukraine.
In August, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) announced that the country needed a long-term program of cooperation with the IMF in the amount of $ 5-10 billion.
