Homeowners lay asleep - while garage was on fire

The alarm comes in at 23:35. Passers-by had seen the garage burn and contact the emergency services.

"But there was never any risk of the fire spreading to neither terrain nor the villa," says Mats Dahlberg, emergency response officer in readiness.

Once on site, the rescue service was able to awaken the homeowner who assisted in the rescue work.

- No one was injured, but the garage burned to the ground, says Dahlberg.

On Thursday morning, the emergency services were again alerted to the scene after the fire started again.

- We are heading there now for a check, says Dahlberg.
