In his opinion, humanity could work four hours three days a week thanks to technological development and the reform of the educational system.

As an example of the benefits of technological progress, the businessman cited electricity, which gives more free time.

“I think that thanks to artificial intelligence, people will have more time to enjoy being human,” Bloomberg quoted the businessman as saying.

Ma noted that in the next 10–20 years, every person, country and government should concentrate on reforming the educational system so that “our children can find work that requires three days a week, four hours a day.”

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the transition to a four-day working week in the country is possible in the future, but not this very second.

According to a survey, almost 50% of Russians support this idea.
