It is noted that two fires with an area of 14.3 thousand hectares are recorded in the Kamchatka Territory, 30 fires on an area of 10.2 thousand hectares were actively extinguished in Transbaikalia, and 102 fires with an area of 5.3 thousand hectares in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Earlier, an expert of the Permanent Commission on Environmental Issues of the Presidential Human Rights Council Grigory Kuksin, head of the Greenpeace Russia fire prevention program, commented on the situation with forest fires in the country in an interview with NSN.
