Greta Thunberg arrived in Manhattan, United States, Wednesday, August 28, 2019, after a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean that lasted more than two weeks. The 16-year-old Swedish activist is scheduled to attend a United Nations climate conference in September. She has already planned many actions for the climate on American soil.

Invited to the UN climate summit, she refused to fly and traveled on a sailboat to draw attention once again to the consequences of human activity on the climate.
