The General Directorate of Public Health has already confirmed 70 cases of people affected by food poisoning in an Asian restaurant in Palma, which was closed last Sunday.
Health will propose to initiate a sanctioning file to the restaurant, after detecting various structural and operational deficiencies in an inspection. The premises will be closed until the deficiencies detected are amended and those responsible submit a plan to the General Directorate to ensure that food handling practices are applied correctly.
