“Expenditures on the development of the social sphere occupy the largest share of the budget, it can be justifiably said that this budget should be socially oriented, and this priority will remain in the three-year period,” RIA Novosti quoted Medvedev as saying.
He noted that in all areas in the social sphere there are national projects and significant financial resources are being concentrated.
Earlier, Medvedev said that the government will consider the draft federal budget for 2020 and the planning period of 2021 and 2022 at a meeting on September 19.
