During Tuesday evening, many noticed the heavy thunderstorms that passed through parts of western Sweden. SMHI now warns of new thunderstorms on Wednesday, both in Västra Götaland, Halland and parts of Jönköping County. According to SMHI, as much as 50-60 millimeters of rain can occur locally.
"There is a risk of large amounts of rain that can cause flooding in basements, stormwater systems and smaller watercourses," SMHI writes on its website.
Heavy thunder can also occur.
