Climate activist Greta Thunberg has been at sea for two weeks - now the boat Malizia II has anchored off New York. This is what her father Svante Thunberg writes in a text message to SVT News.

Customs and passport control is now waiting for Greta Thunberg and the boat's other crew. Malizia II will also continue to circulate outside New York for a few hours and wait for the tide as the water is too low for the boat to enter the marina. It is expected to arrive in Manhattan at 20 o'clock tonight, Swedish time.

Greta Thunberg is in the US to participate in a UN climate summit in September.
