The prosecutor in the trial fraud case was not vile

To say the least, it has been turbulent about the trial of the extensive cheating on the college exam. In the middle of June, it was clear that the entire hearing had to be resumed, as the trial judge in the case was judged to be disingenuous because of statements he made about the case.

But one of the protagonists in the network accused of running the cheating business in August also charged two prosecutors in the case of disqualification, and reported this to the Eko Crime Authority. They also demanded that the prosecutors be replaced.

In the report, the suspected 27-year-old man claims through his lawyer that prosecutors did not proceed with information that there were more people involved in the cheating network and he did not have the central role the prosecutors alleged.

Now the prosecutor at the Office of the Swedish Criminal Investigation Office has tried the case, and concludes that the prosecutor Anna Lander was not in dispute. Therefore, she can also continue to work on the case, according to the decision.

The other prosecutor who previously worked with the case has not been tried, as he no longer works and therefore does not handle the case anymore.

The new district court hearing is scheduled to be held in January 2020.
