“There is no talk of this in practical terms,” Peskov said in an interview with Channel One.
According to him, any trip is preceded by a fairly lengthy preparation.
“And a visit for a visit, contact for a contact, a summit for a summit is not something that Putin is usually used to doing,” he added.
Earlier, Trump promised to invite Putin to the next G7 summit, which will be held in the United States.
The Kremlin emphasized that for Moscow, a return to this format is not an end in itself.
