“We have outlined with the President of Turkey additional joint measures to neutralize the terrorist centers in Idlib and normalize the situation in this zone, and as a result, in Syria as a whole,” Putin said.

He also emphasized that the de-escalation zone should not serve as a refuge for militants, let alone a bridgehead for new attacks.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that servicemen of the two countries are in constant contact on the situation in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.
