“It seems that the G7 has lost solidarity in its attitude to Russia. This is sad, ”he wrote on his Twitter.

At the same time, he called on the world community to maintain unity of action to prevent Russia's "mega-threat" in relation to Ukraine and the G7 countries.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about a long discussion of the G7 leaders in Biarritz regarding the invitation of Russia to the next G7 summit, which did not allow consensus to be reached.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called on the EU to oppose Russia's accession to the G7 format.

The representative of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Ivan Surma in an interview with the NSN noted that it is impossible to discuss world problems without the participation of Russia and China.
