"Be careful what you say and especially what you do," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Tuesday, including addressing Hezbollah and the Lebanese state, at a conference in Jerusalem.

The pro-Iranian Hezbollah has accused the Jewish state of conducting a drone attack Sunday against its stronghold in southern Beirut, promising a response to this "act of aggression". This attack was described by Lebanese President Michel Aoun as a "declaration of war".

"I suggest to (Hassan) Nasrallah to calm down," Netanyahu said, referring to the remarks made Sunday by Hezbollah leader who promised a riposte against the Jewish state.

Considered by Israel and the United States as a "terrorist organization", Hezbollah is a major political player in Lebanon. He intervenes militarily in the conflict in Syria in support of the Damascus regime, alongside Iran, another arch-enemy of Israel.

On Saturday night, Israel announced that it had carried out strikes in Syria against Iranian forces. Hezbollah said a Shiite movement media center had been hit, recognizing the deaths of two of its men.

On Monday, Benjamin Netanyahu also said he was ready to defend himself "by all means necessary" against Iran, which he said acted "on several fronts to commit deadly attacks against the State of Israel".
