“A pre-investigation check was organized according to a message revealed in the media that a six-year-old boy died in Sergiev Posadsky orphanage,” the statement said.
Investigators plan to seize the necessary medical documentation at the institution, as well as interview the staff of the orphanage and the parents of the deceased child.
Earlier media reported that a child died in a children's home near Moscow, whom the guardianship authorities removed from the family after the boy’s mother became a defendant in the criminal case.
