In Poland, reported an increase in the incidence of measles in the country

It is noted that from January 1 to August 15 of the current year, 1358 cases of measles were registered in Poland. Last year, 103 cases of measles were recorded in the country over the same period.

According to the Institute, a total of 339 cases of measles were recorded in Poland during 2018, with 63 cases recorded in 2017.

Earlier, the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of 2019, 57,301 people in the country got measles, 18 of them died from complications.

In May, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that Ukraine accounted for 70% of all measles infections in Europe in the first months of 2019.
