Four and a half million viewers watched Monday evening the interview with President Emmanuel Macron, guest of the 20H00 Anne-Sophie Lapix, but without allowing it to exceed the TF1 news.

According to Médiamétrie data released on Tuesday morning, the 20H00 France 2 (which inaugurated the occasion of the new school year a new visual dressing) has received a 24% audience share.

During this interview, Emmanuel Macron took stock of the G7 summit that has just taken place in Biarritz.

In detail, it was followed by 4.49 million people. France 2 nevertheless remained second behind TF1, with Gilles Bouleau's JT receiving 4.9 million viewers and an audience share of 26.8%.

In addition, this score, while many French are still on leave, is far from the best audiences achieved by an interview with the President, who has been little to this exercise since the beginning of the five-year: 9.5 million viewers on TF1 and LCI in October 2017; 5.7 million on France 2 in December of the same year; or another 6.4 million people on TF1 on April 12, 2018 (not counting LCI, which codiffed the interview).

Finally, on April 15, 2018, 3.8 million people had watched BFMTV interview Emmanuel Macron to Edwy Plenel (Mediapart) and Jean-Jacques Bourdin (RMC and BFMTV).
