The American wrestler Nick Newell achieved a unique achievement, reaching the eighteenth victory in his career as a professional wrestler in the game of mixed martial arts, although amputated forearm.

Newell, 33, beat compatriot Carrie Browning in the first round, after the surrender of his opponent in their fight, which took place on Sunday, in the championship (Pilator 225) in the state of Connecticut.

Newell forced his rival to surrender by strangling him with an amputated left arm with the help of his other hand, in a way he used to overcome his disability.

Newell, on his official Twitter account, thanked the Mixed Martial Arts Federation for the opportunity to be a professional, during his career in the violent game in which he played twenty guests.

It was an honor to finally grace the @BellatorMMA cage. I'd like to thank @ScottCoker & @rich_chou for giving me the chance as well as my team @FAA_MMA @FAA_CT for allowing me to make the moment mine #NewellWorldOrder pic.twitter.com/grLuZqimYw
