Commuting several miles to the job is part of everyday life for many county residents. In Vaggeryd, around 3,500 people are expected to commute from the municipality and 2,500 to the municipality.

He says that Vaggeryd is expanding and that more and more homes are being built in the municipality. The local real estate company confirms the picture and there they experience a significant increase in the proportion of customers who buy a villa in Vaggeryd despite having jobs in, for example, Jönköping.

At the same time, research shows that commuting can threaten health as a result of stress and poor sleep.
