On August 20, French President Emmanuel Macron, at a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, said that he considered it necessary to hold a meeting in the Norman format.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that before planning a new meeting in the Norman format, the Russian side would like to understand the position of the new Ukrainian authorities regarding the Minsk agreements.
