The National Meteorological Center (NMC) announced today its participation in the 11th annual meeting of the GCC Standing Committee for Meteorology and Climate, which is being held over two days in the Sultanate of Oman. The center said that the weather will be humid during the day and tomorrow, to become clear until the end of this week, pointing out that the sea will remain light to moderate wave in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of ​​Oman.

In particular, the National Meteorological Center predicted that the weather today will be humid, especially on the western coasts, with the possibility of fog or light fog in the morning, in what will become partly cloudy to the east, pointing out that the wind will be southeasterly turning to northeasterly, light to moderate. The center said that the weather tomorrow will remain humid especially in the west, with the possibility of the formation of light fog in the morning, to become a wake to partly cloudy east.

He pointed out that Thursday's weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy, sometimes east in the afternoon, while the winds will be southeasterly turning to northeasterly light to moderate speed, sometimes activate the day with some dust.

The Center said that the agenda of this year's meeting will deal with the decisions of the Supreme Council on the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote the joint Gulf action, volunteer work in the field of meteorology and climate, in addition to follow-up recommendations of the Standing Committee of Meteorology The GCC climate, the Secretariat's proposals and the proposal to support the United Arab Emirates in hosting the 17th session of the Second Region Meeting (Asia).
