The National Meteorological Center (NMC) announced today its participation in the 11th annual meeting of the GCC Standing Committee for Meteorology and Climate, which is being held over two days in the Sultanate of Oman. He pointed out that Thursday's weather will be cloudy to partly cloudy, sometimes east in the afternoon, while the winds will be southeasterly turning to northeasterly light to moderate speed, sometimes activate the day with some dust.

The Center said that the agenda of this year's meeting will deal with the decisions of the Supreme Council on the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote the joint Gulf action, volunteer work in the field of meteorology and climate, in addition to follow-up recommendations of the Standing Committee of Meteorology The GCC climate, the Secretariat's proposals and the proposal to support the United Arab Emirates in hosting the 17th session of the Second Region Meeting (Asia).

They will also discuss the establishment of a YouTube channel for the GCC meteorological network, the evaluation of the regional centers of the World Meteorological Organization located in the Gulf States, the recycling and exchange of experiences among the meteorological facilities in the GCC countries, and benefit from the experiences of others in the meteorological information security.
