According to the representative of ORSIS, in May, the Armenian Defense Ministry first announced a tender for the supply of military equipment worth several million dollars. Only a Russian company could satisfy the requirements, but the tender was closed, the reason for which is unknown.
The case was opened under an article on neglect of service, the company said. The data were confirmed in the defense department, having promised to provide all additional information at the end of the work of the investigating authorities.
The military attache of the Armenian Embassy in Russia was notified of the incident.
