The Hong Kong Stock Exchange has opened the contracting in sharp decline, after the statements by the US president, Trump, on the trade war with Beijing. The protests taking place in the former British colony also weigh negatively. The Hang Seng composite index opened with 857.33 points, equal to -3.27%, and dropped to 25,322 points. Shanghai is also down, losing 1.6%, and Shenzhen, which marks a fall of almost 2%.
