According to a statistical reading on the preliminary lists of applicants for the elections of the Federal National Council, which numbered 499 citizens, the number of those who were excluded for non-completion of the required papers, 56 applications, including 20 applications in Abu Dhabi (12 for men and eight for females), and 13 in Sharjah ( 10 for men and three for females), eight in Dubai (five for men and three for females), six in Ajman (five for men and one woman), four in Ras Al Khaimah (men), three in Umm Al Quwain (two men and one woman), and two requests in Fujairah (one man and one woman) .

Dubai recorded 90 applications, representing 18% of the total number of applications, including 50 for men (56%) and 40 for females (44%). The elections for the Emirate of Ajman, whose electoral commission received 26 applications, constituted 5% of the national applications, including 21 for men (81%) and 19% for females.

The Ras Al Khaimah Committee received 61 applications for nomination, 12% of the applications nationwide, including 39 for men (64%) compared to 22 for females (36%). The Committee of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain received 20 applications for candidacy, representing 4% of the applications nationwide, including 12 applications for men (60%) against eight applications for females. (40%).

The initial lists of applicants for the FNC elections, which were presented by six members of the outgoing council, were presented by representatives of four emirates, including two from Dubai: Hamad Ahmed Sultan Al Rahoumi and Ezzah Suleiman Bin Sulaiman.
