Police were called at half past seven on Monday morning to an address in an industrial area in Heby. A 45-year-old man carried a knife and acted aggressively towards people who were at the scene. Police arrived at the scene just an hour later.
- First, a warning shot is fired. Then he was shot in the leg by a police officer, says Daniel Wikdahl, a press spokesman at Uppsala police.
The incident occurred indoors. The man was taken care of and taken to hospital for care.
"The man is arrested on suspicion of threatening to an official," says Daniel Wikdahl.
