As stated in the regional headquarters of the UK, the arrested person was charged under two counts - robbery and deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim by negligence.

According to investigators, the 34-year-old resident of Maloyaroslavets used the confidence of a 92-year-old veteran, entered his apartment and delivered an elderly man no less than ten blows, from which the victim died.

“After that, the accused stole 50 thousand rubles from the victim’s apartment and disappeared from the scene of the crime,” the IC noted.

Investigators discovered and seized evidence at the scene of the incident, which allowed the necessary genetic examinations to be carried out.

According to RIA Novosti, the accused was arrested for two months.

Earlier it was reported that in the apartment of the city of Maloyaroslavets found the body of a veteran of World War II.

In March, URA.RU reported on the start of a trial in Yekaterinburg for an accused of beating a veteran.
