ON THE JDD
It's not just vacationers who enjoy the summer. The head of state, too, finds a climate a little more lenient in August, according to an Ifop poll for the JDD published this Sunday. In this survey, the head of state takes two additional points of favorable opinion, or 34% of respondents satisfied with his action.
A leap to EELV supporters
Compared to those of his predecessors, the rating of Emmanuel Macron is acceptable, clearly above that of François Hollande at the same time (17%) but well below that of Nicolas Sarkozy at the same period (45% ). In detail, strong trends are observed among traders, craftsmen and entrepreneurs, more and more satisfied (45%, against 38% in July) and supporters of Europe Ecology-The Greens, with whom he progresses 14 points, from 27 to 41% favorable opinions.
On the other hand, the popularity of Emmanuel Macron crumbles among respondents who say they are close to the MoDem. While 74% of them approved it in July, they are only 66% in August. And this, while the centrist party is yet the first ally of La République en marche !.
For his part, Edouard Philippe does not take advantage of the same improvement and stagnates at 36% of good opinions.
