The historic leader of the abertzale left and member of the platform against the summit of the G7 de Biarritz, 'G7EZ', Joseba Álvarez has been arrested this Sunday morning at a checkpoint in the French Basque Country, as sources confirmed to Europa Press the organizers of the acts of protest against the meeting of the great world powers.

Apparently, Álvarez had previously been arrested for organizing acts against the summit and, therefore, would have been banned from entering France. In any case, the former member of the National Bureau of Batasuna has denied any record of this prohibition.
