Earlier it was reported that Macron and Zarif held negotiations in Biarritz.
They were preceded by a meeting of the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of France and Iran.
Zarif flew to France for the G7 summit on the evening of August 25.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Zarif’s meeting with the American delegation on the G7 side is not expected.
