According to sources from the Cantonese Canton of Valais, all passengers on the plane died: the pilot, an adult passenger and a child.

The tourist plane had taken off around 9 o'clock from a surface area in the Canton of Vaud and was headed to Italy. The crash on the piper Simplon took place at 10.30.

The Swiss Security Investigation Service has opened an investigation to establish the causes of the accident because the dynamics of the air disaster is currently unclear.

Upon their arrival, the rescuers found the wreckage in flames and the three corpses: of the pilot, of the passenger and of the newborn. The formal identification of the victims is still ongoing. Identity is unknown
