The accident occurred at night on the 108th kilometer of the Tsivilsk-Ulyanovsk highway.
“According to preliminary data, five people died as a result of the accident, four of whom were in a domestic-made car, the fifth was a passenger of a foreign car,” Interfax quoted the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Chuvash Republic.
Earlier it was reported that the culprit of the accident with 12 dead in Chuvashia was sentenced.
