Bahraini opposition figures held a stand in front of their country's embassy in London in support of political prisoners on hunger strike for the second week in a row.

Participants denounced what they described as harsh and degrading conditions against political prisoners in Bahrain's prisons.

British human rights institutions, which demanded radical human rights reform in Bahrain as a prelude to political reform, took part in the stand.

Hundreds of detainees in the "Go" and "Dry Dock" prisons have been on hunger strike since the 15th of this month to protest the conditions of their detention.
