• WHO rejects electronic cigarettes: "Undoubtedly harmful"

The United States has registered their first electronic cigarette smoking victim. One patient died in Illinois after developing a severe respiratory disease. This was announced by the health authorities of the US state.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Cdc) has announced that 200 people have fallen ill across the country because of the electronic cigarette. "This tragic death in Illinois reinforces the serious risks associated with electronic cigarette products," said CDC director Robert Redfield.
