A Filipina girl died and her friend was injured after being run over by a vehicle opposite a Shaml intersection in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
An official at the Saqr government hospital, told «Emirates Today», that the Department of Accidents and Emergencies received last Friday, two girls (two Asian) in serious condition, as a result of an accident run over.
He explained that one of them arrived at the hospital is dead, and that the second girl suffered serious injuries in the chest area, and was subsequently admitted to the intensive care room.
The RAK Police Operations Room received a report of the incident. Traffic patrols, ambulances and rescue vehicles were sent to the site and the accident file was referred to the competent authorities for legal action.
