Mountain accidents, two climbers died

A 53-year-old French mountaineer died after falling from the Marmol ferrata on the Belluno mountains. He had left the Settimo Alpini refuge with six other compatriots. Once they reached the top of the Schiara, they had started the descent when the man fell into the void on the Marmol ferrata, in an exposed stretch. Another mountaineer died on the western summit of Lavaredo, in the province of Bolzano, hit by a boulder that came off the wall.
