“Over the past day, 18 forest fires in the control zone on an area of 533 thousand 460 ha were eliminated. More than 320 people and 25 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing forest fires per day, ”the report said.
On the territory of the Republic of Sakha, 57 natural fires with an area of 497 thousand 789 ha remain active.
The government of Yakutia also recalled that the fire regime was introduced in nine regions of the region.
Earlier, the head of the Republic of Sakha canceled the emergency regime declared in the region due to forest fires.
