Many were gathered as swordfish swam around the Gulf of Lomma. Jessica Grundén was one of the first on site and saw the event.

- At first, I didn't understand what it was. But when it came close we clearly saw that it was a swordfish. There were some ladies who were bathing, but they were up quickly, she says.

Disappeared after a while

Those who saw the swordfish began to get worried and discussed who to contact, but by then the swordfish had received enough attention and left.

- We were a little worried, but it was nice when we found out that it had swum further, says Jessica Grundén.

Unusually it happens

Mia Kristiansen, who works at the Öresund Aquarium, confirms that it is a swordfish.

- It is very unusual for this to happen. The last time we saw a swordfish so close to humans was about five years ago, she says.

Are they dangerous?

- If I had been there I would have jumped in and swam with it. They often enjoy surfing and swimming with them, says Mia Kristiansen.
