24 August 2019A 34 year-old woman died in the hospital, attacked this morning in Copparo, near Ferrara, by her cohabitant, 17-18 years older than her, who is in the barracks, heard by the prosecutor and the carabinieri. The woman lost her life around noon, after she had been taken to the resuscitation department of the Sant'Anna di Cona hospital, following a dispute that broke out around 7:30 am for reasons of jealousy.The two, who had had an affair for some time, had arranged to meet this morning to spend the day together, according to a first reconstruction of the carabinieri, but there was discussion, then degenerated and he, married to another woman but who had left, with a blunt instrument he struck the victim repeatedly at the skull.
The 34 year-old fainted and was transported by the 118, in a coma, to the hospital where she died after a few hours. The man, tracked down by the carabinieri in the morning, is under interrogation from 11 and for him the accusation that will be triggered will be of murder.
