A man has died charred this morning in a traffic accident in Guadarrama (Madrid) when the car driving on a pillar of the AP-6 motorway collided, as reported by a spokesman for Emergencies 112 Community of Madrid.

The accident occurred at kilometer 2 of the M-527 road, in Guadarrama, under the AP-6 bridge, where the only vehicle involved has suffered the impact.

The driver of the car, a 46-year-old male, has been charred in the fire that has been caused in the vehicle. The emergency services of SUMMA112 have only been able to confirm the death.

The victim's smartwatch has sent a warning message to 112 and his emergency contact, which has facilitated his identification.

The Firefighters of the Community of Madrid have rescued the body inside the car and have had to extinguish a fire of about 200 square meters in the gutter as a result of the accident.

Red Cross and local police officers have collaborated with the emergency services and the Civil Guard has taken charge of the accident investigation
