The Blue House held its NSC Standing Committee, headed by the head of the National Security Agency, at 8:30 am today to discuss the response to the launch of a North Korean projectile.

Standing members expressed strong concern that North Korea continued to launch short-range projectiles despite the end of US-ROK military training and urged North Korea to stop acting to increase military tension on the peninsula.

He also said that North Korea would make diplomatic efforts with the international community to come to talks with North Korea as soon as possible in order to achieve the full denuclearization goal of the Korean peninsula agreed between the two leaders.

In addition, the detailed specifications of the projectile were decided to be closely analyzed through close cooperation between US and US intelligence authorities.
