Zelensky called Kyiv’s tough stance on Crimea’s “return”

“Naturally, we have a tough stance on the return of the Crimea, of course, we want this,” TASS quoted him as saying.

As the president pointed out, there are several bills in Crimea in the Ukrainian parliament that need to be studied.

Earlier, a member of the Federation Council Sergei Tsekov called on Kiev to develop a plan for the gradual recognition of Crimea as part of Russia.

In mid-August, Zelensky’s office was called on to develop a strategy for the “reintegration of Crimea and Donbass.”

As Zelensky noted, he is confident that Crimea will “return” to Ukraine.

Crimea became the Russian region after a referendum held in March 2014, in which most residents spoke out for reunification with Russia.
